Interpreting Spiritual Alchemy In Practice And In Theory

By Amanda Baird

In the not too distant past when ever people called someone an alchemists they were generally speaking of those people that were solely interested in crafting gold from lead and mercury. Not surprisingly these types of experiments have always proved very unsuccessful. Spiritual alchemy though has always concerned itself with an idea of manifesting physical and spiritual items in their life that they want the most. Simply put they create them through a thought process and make them manifest within their life.

Modern science often looks to this with mistrust and disdain. Scientists generally believe that if it can not be measured then it can not be real. An exception to this is the placebo effect. This is where people taking something get better simply because they believe they will get better. This is just one of many different ways people practice this every day. However it goes much deeper than that.

Many people have a difficult time feeling grateful for all the different things that have happened in their lives that have molded them into the people they are. These can be good, bad or simply meaningless things. The point is that they have life and have lived. Everyone should always take a moment to thank whatever power they follow for this wonderful gift.

Most people have issues forgiving themselves. Everybody makes some mistakes, it is part of the living process. Negative ideas and thoughts are often passed on to God just the same as a positive one is. It is only through experiencing life by making some mistakes that anyone can become better beings.

Typically people have subconscious blocks in their mind since before childhood that negatively impact their thoughts and actions. The way to overcome this negativity is accept it for what it is, a self made limit. This limit from one degree to another is something everyone has. By reinforcing positive traits and positively thinking about yourself these can be diminished.

It is sad that fear something people seem to have more than they really need. This is a trait connecting people together. Basically faith can cure this fear. Faith in God, the world, even their friends. Having this patience and faith to believe in your will to manifest things is challenging but the core component of any spiritual alchemist's power.

Learning to see what you need vs what you think you need is another of the traits for the successful spiritual alchemist. Learning to see one thing in its completeness in your mind's eye and bringing it into your life can be difficult. It is often different for everybody. Basically create it in your mind's eye and make it real.

One of the best ways to practice spiritual alchemy is by making a flow chart. Draw the chart out showing the things in your life you want to become real. As things become real, move from one step to the next. Remember it is a process and takes time. Have faith and be patient. Do not forget to be happy for the many wonderful things you do have in your life.
